The race to live

A good friend of mine is trying to fight the battle of Multiple Sclerosis, the link to her full story is below, but basically she needs life saving stem cell treatment which isn't available in Australia.

Her fight is to live to watch her two beautiful little girls grow up. The quality of her future with the disease is unknown.

I photographed Nikki's family for her, it was the very least i could do. It definitely pulls at the heartstrings and brings life into perspective. We worry about trivial things everyday, when so many people are fighting or dealing with heartbreaking life threatening illnesses.
